I just want her to be happy.... bullshit!
Selflessness
One of the most fucked up piece of bullshit I ever heard was the sentence "I just want her to be happy". This is a sentence usually used in movies after the chick dumps the guy for someone richer/more popular/with a better car.
Let's analise this for a bit. I can understand the whole "wanting her to be happy". I mean, if you care about someone, that's what you want for them, right? Still, can you honestly say that you really want a chick that you loved, probably still do, to shit on you and go around fucking some other guy?
Truth is, you don't want her to be happy... you want her to be happy with you. No one's selfless enough to sacrifice their own happiness for someone else. If you're stupid enough to do that, all that awaits is regret. So why would someone say something like "as long as she's happy..."? Face it, humans are selfish.
Selfish, spoiled and possessive. We want thing our way, when we want them. The only time we allow ourselves to be a little more giving is when we like the person. The more you like them, the more you give, without expecting something back... although a cinic, such as myself, would say that you'd expect recognition and satisfaction because of their happyness. Makes ya feel all warm and cuddly inside!
And yet, that sentence, in that context, basically says that, ok, You've allowed yourself to be the least bit selfish as you can be. You've allowed yourself to give everything to someone (almost) unconditionally. Then they fuck you over! The person you trusted the most fucks you over. And you want her to be happy.
Bullshit.

I want my ex to be happy.
Just not happier that me.
Or for him to be miserable.
Whatever works best.
:)
I didn't mean you want the other person to be miserable... well, maybe at first, but then... as a wise person once said:
"why sould I hate her if I loved her so much once?"
It's just that, if you really love(d) someone, you can't really say "I hope you'll be happy with someone else" and mean it.
I just hate hypocrites. (BTW, how did ya find this blog?)
Searching random blogs and just stumbled across it. I'll keeo reading it.
Didn't know there were people on the internets (that I didn't knew) that read these rants of mine. Hope you liked it.
Hehehe.
No, I don't hate him.
I just want to be happier than him, that's all.
Hahaha.
Don't be so serious!
